Use the record type to choose the right Falls County or Texas custodian:

  • State criminal history: Texas Department of Public Safety, Crime Records Division, Criminal History Record Information Processing Bureau.
  • Police reports: the police department or sheriff that created the report.
  • Expunction or nondisclosure: confirm the filing route with the clerk of the court that handled the matter.

Falls County does not publish a separately branded sheriff records division or special counter hours. Call the Sheriff’s Office at 254-883-1431 before visiting. Written Texas Public Information Act instructions also allow email to countyclerk@co.falls.tx.us, mail to PO Box 458, Marlin, TX 76661, or delivery to County Clerk Room 202 when that office is the proper custodian.
